How we work
At Angelo Design, interior design services are provided in standard client-preferred services.
Consultation Only:
Consultation only appointments are for clients who may have questions regarding paint colors, furniture placement, accessorizing, and other interior design questions, but have no other needs. These one or two time appointments usually last an hour or two, and are charged at an hourly rate. Payment is required at the end of the appointment.
Flat Fee Services:
Flat fee services are for clients who need more design advice but a consultation is too limited. Design advice such as floor plans for furniture placement, window treatment design, or detailed guidance on how to complete their room or project are sometimes needed. The difference here is that the client would like to make all their own purchases. Some clients like this option because they love to shop or need the best price possible. Once the scope of work is decided upon, we will enter into a Letter of Agreement. An upfront design fee is required at the time of the Agreement signing. The amount will be determined based on the scope of work. This fee is non-refundable. After the Agreement signing and design fee is paid, the design process begins. Based on the scope of work, a detailed design plan will be provided with suggestions on how the homeowner can complete the design. If adjustments need to be made to the design, extra charges may occur.
Full Service Interior Design:
Full Service Interior Design is our most popular option. This option is similar to the Flat Fee option with the exception that all purchases are made through Angelo Design. Angelo Design has numerous accounts with major furniture, fabric, and accessory companies allowing for a truly custom interior. Window treatment design and installation, floor plans for furniture placement and selection of furniture, accessorizing and artwork selection are some of the common uses for the Full Service Interior Design package. Clients who choose this option do not want to shop or worry about installations. Our installers take the worry and hassle away of trying to do it yourself.
Once the scope of work is decided upon, we will enter into a Letter of Agreement. An upfront design fee is required to begin the design process. This fee is non-refundable.
A design will be provided based on the Letter of Agreement to the client with a detailed estimated of what the project will cost. Adjustments can and will be made to assure the design is to the clients liking. Once a final design is approved, a 50% deposit for item purchase is required. On the day of installation or completion of the project, the remaining balance will be due. *There are some exceptions to the deposit requirement based on the item to be purchased and the vendor’s requirements.
Kitchen, Bath Design, Custom Cabinetry, Furniture Design, and Basement Remodel:
Kitchen and Bath Design or Basement Remodeling can be purchased through a Flat Fee Design service or a Full Service Interior Design package. Custom Cabinetry or Furniture Design is priced on a Flat Fee Service.
